Sam Jakes Inn offers 33 beautiful guestrooms, including six fireplace suites. In addition, three luxury suites are located in the historic “Granary.” Whatever your accommodation choice, “rest” assured a sense of calm and the comforting ambiance of another era will greet you at the turn of your key in the lock.

All rooms are furnished with antiques or traditional-style furniture. The six fireplace suites feature furniture carved from cherry wood; the remaining rooms are accented with pine. Period furnishings, folk art, dried flowers, downy duvets, fluffy pillows, rich layers of fabrics and coverings reminiscent of the 1860's – when original owner Sam Jakes built his house – all peacefully blend together to create an atmosphere of heritage and hospitality. The decor in each guestroom is distinct from the others...just like each guest who stays at Sam Jakes Inn.

Sam Jakes Inn is completely wheelchair accessible and non-smoking. All accommodations include:

• a feather duvet, king-size pillows and warm throw blankets;

• individually controlled air/heat and windows which you can open to enjoy the fresh country air;

• four-piece bathroom supplied with a full assortment of bath products and a hair dryer;

• clock radio and wake-up service;

• in-room coffee maker;

• large desk, extra seating and ample lighting for reading/working.

• touch-tone telephone with voice mail, modem jacks at desk and high speed Internet access (in most rooms);

• colour cable television.

The Trillium, the Maple and the Lockmaster luxury suites are conveniently located in the “Granary,” across from the garden patio.

• All three suites have king-sized beds, so soft and spacious you’ll feel yourself sinking into and floating upon them simultaneously, bathrooms with showers and Jacuzzi tubs to help you unwind, and comfortable chairs and gas fireplaces which invite relaxed conversation and help set the mood.

• The Trillium suite has a wrought-iron bed, the Maple and Lockmaster suites, sleigh-style beds.

• The Maple and Lockmaster Suites both have separate dining and living room areas with pull-out sofas for extra guests. In addition, the Lockmaster Suite has a second bathroom.
